Pablo E. Hernandez

Pablo E. Hernandez of Sayreville, NJ, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at age of 59. Pablo was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico on December 23, 1961 to Luz Selenia Rosario and the late Rafael Hernandez.

Guest will be received at the Irvine-Cozzarelli Memorial Home (973-759-1114), 276 Washington Avenue, Belleville, NJ, on Sunday afternoon, February 21, 2021 from 2:00 o’clock until 6:00 o’clock in the evening. (Due to social distance requirements, it is respectfully requested that your visit is limited to a few moments and allow others to pay their respects.) Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home on Monday morning, February 22, 2021 at 10:00 o’clock with Pastor Albert Rosado officiating. Entombment will be at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, NJ.  

Pablo was the proud owner and operator of Bug Eliminators Termite and Pest Control Company of Belleville, NJ, for over 25 years. He appreciated and respected his customers. Pablo spent his down time playing baseball video games, going to various casinos, and playing scratch off lottery tickets.  He was an avid Yankee fan and attended a game whenever possible. He also enjoyed traveling around the country and loved animals. Pablo was known for his contagious laugh and always wanting to make everyone around him smile. He loved to wear his famous red speedos in the pool, and he wore them any chance he could.

Pablo was the beloved husband for 24 years to Aida (nee Santiago) Hernandez; devoted father of Amy Hernandez Colon, Christina Hernandez Robbins, Melissa Hernandez, Pablo Hernandez Jr., Betzaida Roman Nazario, and Arsenio Santiago, Jr.; cherished grandchildren Juan Duque, Kassidy Colon, Nathaniel Colon, Amaya Pagan, Benjamin Nazario, Jr., Donivyn Guzman, Samantha Guzman, Alexsis Santiago, and Arsenio Santiago, III, Isabella Santiago; loving son of Luz Selenia (nee Rosario) Hernandez; dear brother of Rafael Hernandez, Axel Hernandez, Hector Rivera, Rose Castro, and Luz Yesenia Rivera. Pablo was a father figure to his siblings and anyone he came to know. Floral tributes will be greatly appreciated.
