Doris B. Serrano, 73, of Newark, entered into eternal life on December 25, 2020. Private services and cremation were under the care and direction of the Irvine Cozzarelli Memorial Home (www.irvinecozzarelli.com) 276 Washington Avenue, Belleville. (973-759-1114)
Mrs. Serrano was born and raised in Utuado, Puerto Rico prior to setting in the United States. She was an investigator in the legal department in the City of Newark, NJ for many years before her retirement. Spending time with her family and listening to her favorite music was precious to her.
Doris was the wife of the late Raul Serrano; mother of Jose Rosado & his wife Nungning, Nina Walker, Wanda Ortiz, Octavio Perez, Orlando Perez & his wife Elva, Michael Serrano & his wife Rosa and Raul Serrano. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, whom she treasured. Doris also enjoyed listing to her favorite music.
