Charles Palmer Herbst, Sr.

Charles Palmer Herbst, Sr. of Belleville, N.J. entered into eternal life on Saturday July 1, 2023 at the age of 79.

Mr. Herbst is survived by his beloved wife Patricia Ann (nee Corea) Herbst; a loving son Charles Palmer Herbst, Jr.; and  a dear sister Maryann Scarano.

Mr. Herbst was born in Orange, N.J. on August 5, 1943 to the late Palmer George Herbst and the late Sophia (nee Czarniecki) Herbst.

He had lived in Belleville for many years. Charles was a retired bus driver for Saddle River Tours of Maywood. He was a former funeral assistant at the Irvine-Cozzarelli Memorial Home.

Visitation will be held Monday July 3rd from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. at the Irvine-Cozzarelli Memorial Home, 276 Washington Avenue, Belleville. There will be a Catholic prayer service in the funeral home during the visitation. Cremation will be private.
