Arnold Capriglione, 103, of Belleville, NJ, entered into eternal life at his residence on Wednesday, May 12, 2021. Arnold was born and raised in Newark and had lived in Belleville for the past 65 years.
Guest will be received at the Irvine-Cozzarelli Memorial Home, P.A., 276 Washington Avenue, Belleville, N.J. on Sunday, May 16th, 2021 in the afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00 o’clock and the evening from 6:00 to 8:00 o’clock. A Funeral Mass will be offered at Saint Peter’s R.C. Church, 155 William Street, Belleville, N.J. on Monday morning, May 17th, 2021 at 10:00 o’clock. Those who wish to attend the funeral may gather at the funeral home at 9:00 o’clock. Burial will follow in Glendale Cemetery, 28 Hoover Avenue, Bloomfield.
Mr. Capriglione proudly served his country in the United States Army during WW II. He was employed by Jayne’s Motor Freight of Elizabeth, N.J. as a truck driver for many years prior to retiring 38 years ago. Occasionally Arnold enjoyed bowling, however spending time with his family was near and dear to his heart.
Arnold was the husband of the late Julia (nee Mercuria) Capriglione; father of Richard Capriglione, Arnold Capriglione, Jr. and the late Dennis Capriglione; grandfather of Lisa Capriglione-Musico, Dennis Capriglione, Donna Marie Capriglione, Jason Capriglione, and Natalie Capriglione; great-grandfather of Vincent Musico, Lexi Musico, Bella Capriglione, Julianna Capriglione, Dante Capriglione, and Liam Dominick Rivas.
